  Can you believe that I have been in my new home for a year already?  I have to tell you thank you again for all of your help and encouragement.

  If you remember,  I had terrible experiences with three other realtors.  One realtor was two hours late meeting me one day and one hour early on another.  He was on the phone the whole time making me feel as if I didn't matter.  Another realtor was rude and wouldn't talk with me until I found houses on her web site to look at.  The last realtor "didn't want to know my financial business" but told me to be qualified for a loan, let him know how much I qualified for on the loan, find houses to look at and get back to him.  I was frustrated and overwhelmed.

  Four months later I met you.  You treated me like a person and took genuine interest in helping me find a home.  You worked with me and for me and came along beside me.  I so appreciated they way you explained everything to me and were with me every step of the process.  I never dreamed that I would be able to have a home built.  You went the extra mile to research Drees homes to find out if and where they were building homes in my price range.  You helped me pick out the lot, the style, carpet, tile, paint, cabinets, etc.  You were with me during the building process and gave me advice.  You were with me when we talked to the lender and you were with me at the closing.

  As you remember, it was a very stressful time because of my mother's illness and passing away.  Because of your involvement and hard work some of the stress was taken off of me.

Dear Mercy:

 

Lometta and I want to thank you for your participation in selling our house at Plano. As you may recall you became aware of our efforts to sell this property in later March of this year. Our efforts were uneventful except for some possible leads. Our efforts in following up on these leads did not produce a prospective buyer.

 

At this time you ask us to list the property for sale through your real estate brokerage company. You may recall that we wanted the property sold within 60 days. On April 7, 2008 we listed the property with you. The buyers option check is dated May 1, 2008, they signed the contract on May 1, 2008 (just 30 days after the listing date) and the process began for the buyers to complete their loan for a mortgage on the property. Since my wife and I were in Colorado during this time, the closing date was extended from June 6th to June 10th, 2008. Sixty three days after the listing date we signed the deed over to the buyers, well within the time frame we had hoped for.

 

On a personal note, we are very satisfied about the professional way this process took place. Everything was well communicated to us in timely manner before we went to Colorado and after we returned. You may recall that it was necessary to contact us several times by phone and e-mail while we were gone because of changes being made by the buyer, the lender and FHA. We signed the addendums and faxed them back. We really appreciated the extra effort you put in at that time. It allowed us to have a great two week vacation in Colorado Springs where we have family and friends.

Please permit us to give a short anecdote on Mercy  Abraham  our realtor and if We may say friend as events have proved. Usually when dealing with an agent you would expect that while giving you their professional advise they would be more interested in concluding the service  soonest to secure an early payment, this was not the case with Mercy. Our story began when we relocated to Dallas from London in December 2007. Her website had caught our attention in London and we gave her a call after two months of house hunting on our own in Dallas.  We were impressed by her quick response and series of inspections that followed. I wanted to take a minute to express the wonderful working relationship that I encountered with Mercy Abraham this last month for the property at 6808 Sharps Drive for her customer.
